H22 Euro Accord TypeR motor worth the $$???
I was planning to do a jdm h22a swap into my eg hatch, but have been thinking about getting H22 Euro accord typeR motor. It doesn't seem as if many people have done this swap, so I'm unsure about the gains of this motor over the jdm h22a, although I kno it has higher compression, more hp, and better gearing. What exactly are the gains over the jdm h22a? Is it worth the money?
Here are a few questions that all you honda guru's can help me clarify to help me in my decision to buy this motor or stick with the jdm h22a:
1. Is the swap for the h22 euro typeR the same as for the jdm h22a into an eg hatch?
2. I know with proper tuning the jdm h22a can handle 75-100 of DP nitrous on stock internals. Is this the same for the euro typeR motor?
3. How does the h22 euro typeR compare with a b18c5 on the track assuming that both motors were swapped into identical eg hatches with the same drivers? How would it compare with the jdm h22a on the track?

If you are takling about European Accord type-r:
- engine code H22a7, 212 hp,
- single intake runner, specific header and two-pipe exhaust on both sides of car,
- obd2, no obd1 version,
- camshafts and valvetrain identical to prelude type-s (here in europe coded H22a8),
- intake nearly same as normal H22a1 (H22a8 = prelude type-s has different one),
- ported and polished head in factory.
But it is extremely rare and expensive one as there was very small amount produced.
Concerning the swap, you do it like with an ordinary H22a, except the wiring - as already said it is obd2 engine. If you would use an ecu obd1 from normal h22a, probably you would loose a lot of horsepower.
