anyone else have tranny/diff noise?
Wifey's 03 S2K has some tranny and diff issues. As far as the tranny goes, it seems the imput shaft bearing is going bad. While at idle in neutral it has a growling noise from the tranny. Pushing in the clutch, the noise winds down and stops. Releasing the clutch noise is back again. Slam dunk right? Well, since it is still under warranty i brought it in to the dealer and they state this noise is normal and that honda has released a bulletin stating this.
Second is the noise from the rear diff. Growling that can be heard a low speeds and more so when on the hwy at light throttle or slight deceleration. Again dealership states these noises are normal which i would be okay with if they were present from day but not the case.
Oh well, chime in if ya'll are hearing the same stuff. Thanks.

The only bulletins out for trans noise are: a noisy clutch pedal, and grinding while upshifting when the engine is cold. Sounds like someone doesnt want your warranty work.
Noise is not normal. If they do look it it they'll try and diag it as the throwout bearing. Then they'll realize it was the ISB and do it again.
