Ok i'm preparing to build a hybrid eg civic, but havent decided on the motor. This is going to be a Drag Race only car. And i'm looking to put out 25psi of boost. So i've been thinking which motor is going to be the best for high horsepower applications. B18C1, B18B, LS/VTEC?

 

At that much boost I'd go for B16..

 

B16 for the rod to stroke ratio but definitly bore it out..

 

if its cheaper to get a b16 and resleeve it to 85.4...why dont alot of people do that??? instead of getting a b18 and spending all that money...
