gt30r trim question?
Hallo,
can someone tell me if there is a huge difference in
spool up time and maximum power that the turbo can handle between
a garrett GT30R with a 56 trim vs. a 52 trim?
because we can only get the 52 trim at the moment because of
delivery problems and we want to know if it makes a big difference.
the 52 trim is rated for only 500 hp and our goal was originaly
a bit higher... so whats the real maximum the gt30 is able to
make with a 52 trim
engine is a fully build b16a2.

Sorry his trim-numbers are wrong. At first we wanted to have a GT30R with .56trim on compressor side.
Now, the company we where we ordered and (payed soon) can just support us with a GT30R with .52trim on compressor side.
What do you think? Waiting till the .56 is available or should we take the .52trim?
As MRX said- the goal was more than 500hp
