Why a p72, shouldnt you be using a p30? Your probably fluctuating because of the chip. Are you a stock motor?

Honestly man thats bullshit. You pay the guy for the services and he got you the wrong ecu for you motor? Thats just bad buisness.

*Note* If the guy didnt get you your motor and everything then forget my post.

Edit: Also are you OBD0, OBD1, OBD2?

thats wierd you should be throwing a CEL light with the p72 no matter what. because it will be looking for the IAB (secondary butterflies) which are in the GSR intake manifold. Are you runnin OBD 1 or OBDII?

have you ever seen your CEL turn on? does it turn on everytime you start your car?

When i first got my swap done i had CEL 10 & 22. 10 becuz it was a jdm and jdm's dont have a intake temp sensor, and 22 becuz jdm vtec soleniods dont have a vtec pressure swtich plug. I fixed those two problems and now no more CEL. thats the only CEL's i had thou. i believe he gave me a gsr engine harness too if that helps.

The engine harness dont mean **** becasue its the same harness just with a couple plugs hanging.

Honesly man, get the right ecu for you year. Go back to that "shop" and demand the right ecu. And he let you go with codes. Sheesh.

Go get a Chipped P28 or a Virgin P30 Ecu and this will solve your problem.

Skunk2 ECU's or Skunk2 Chips can not detect many CEL's. This goes for most performance chips.
