Default ECU help. please.

Hey,

I'm currently looking to buy a GSR. The GSR I'm looking at had it's original factory ECU stolen out the car, the person I'm buying the car from replaced it with a p28 'chipped' ECU - Inititally he was going to give me the chip with the car so I was like cool, he said he had it mapped for a Type R, etc etc and it was like $500 bux or something..

Anyways - Seeing as I'm going to need an ECU now, should I just get a 94-95 P72 OBD1 ECU or go with something aftermarket now that isn't that much more??? If anybody is selling a P72 OBD1 ECU let me know please.

chipped p28 works fine i believe. but p72 would be better if the car is relatively stock.
