Default 92-95 civic dash light problems????

When I turn on my head lights at night I notice that my dash lights won't turn on right away and sometimes a few minutes later. I checked the fuses and they're OK! Any other suggestions is helpful!

By the way, I searched prior to posting and nothing worth the help. Thanks again.

Bad grounds, have you done any electrical work lately? Headunit install? Anything like that? Sometimes you can loosen a wire or ground, or maybe fry a wire....but check if you did any of that and trace your steps.

I had that problem after i installed my headunit, went back, used more of that good black tape, and it was

Good Luck

Mine tend to do that. Also turn off later. or one side or the other will be on (of the 2 lights in the center console). HItting it usually gets them back on. Some strange bad connection. Will have to take it apart one day when I have time.

I had that same problem, turned out to be the dimmer switch. If you hit (or tap it) the switch and it turns on, theres your problem.
