Default which turbo kit for 99 SI

Hi, I have 99 CX hatch. I have a b16a2 swap. I want to do a turbo setup. I don't know if I should just buy the Greddy kit for $2800 with intercooler on EBAY or just build one. I am just looking to make 200-250 whp. What kind of setup should I go with and what is the best for my money.

Thanks

Just put together your own kit. Most people with Greddy kits (including myself) end up wanting more. Just make sure you get the turbo you want for your goals, and not some 600hp beast that's overkill. There seems to be a trend on here lately for quicker spooling turbos like the GT28r. Do some searches and don't jump into it right away.

your car sounds nice man! oh, and if you dont have alot of spare time, just buy a kit, but if you dont mind going some research, go with a custom kit. Either way, you can always upgrade

I told myself I just want a simply Drag kit (225-250hp) now I kept upgrading and buying new parts and get rid of the old and now there's nothing left of Drag... Peice a kit together comes to be the same amount, maybe alittle more, plus you can make a much better set-up and most to all cases way more power!!!

build it, and then turbo it. many people will favor turbo over sc, reason being that sc is belt driven, and cannot make as must power as a turbo

My greddy kit is great...BUT I've only got the turbo and manifold left from the original kit. The rest has been upgraded and swapped.
