i use to have a 2001 s2k. Then back window was plastic. The 03 comes with a glass back. Do you guys think is better to pay the few extra grands for the 03 with glass. Or just get a 01-02 model with the plastic. keep in mind that the plastic started getting really scratched and it was hard to see some back sometimes.

 

i would go for a 02+.... there's more then just the glass top that makes it better....

there's also 2 extra speakers (tweeters), the center consol is leather, the shifter is wrapped in leather, it doesnt' have the problem with 1st and 2nd gear... and there's a couple of other things... .....

 

i have an 00 and honestly the plastic window never bothered me... i clean it all the time and use meguires plast-x or something like that and it clears almost all scratches on it

 

you have more viewing from the plastic window. and weight savings. hahahahhaa...

 

all s2000's have the grinding issues, take yours all the way up to 9200 and throw it into second, the sychros cant keep up....

 

get the older one and save up for the hardtop.

you won't have to save... the difference could probably just get you one..

 

you should look into a 03'. from what i understand the one's afer 02' have more power stock from what people say
