Default Odd Technical ghetto question...............

Here's the story. I bought my Girl's 1997 prelude sport shift. The problem is the trans, it's shot and needs a replacement. I wanted to know if I can use the transmission off a F series motor from honda accords in replacement for the H series in Prelude , and will it work correctly. Since I will be using it for daily driving I am not concerned if the Sport shift will work or not just as long as it shifts automatically I'll be fine.

Thanks

I dont believe that you can, but i do know that the H22 and H23 are direct replacements for one another, but i dont believe that an F series Transmission will fit along with an H series motor.

Yeah, most extended warrenties are not done by year, but by milage. Check you warranty and milage of car and see if it can be serviced and repaired.
