Default suspension problem..

So I got new springs and shocks for my car...a 95 civic coupe..and everything is fine except the rear driver side shock...everything i go over a bump..it clicks..i messed with it a little..and it seems that there is a gap or space there..like its not tight or something..but i have the bolts tight as they can go...what could it be?

are you sure everything is torqued properly?

Could be a bad lower shock mount bushing... most likely just an improperly seated/torqued bolt though.

Could also be improper spring seating... not as likely though... pretty sure that would resolve itself if it was the case.
