Civic DX Tachometer

I have a civic DX and it doesn't have a tachometer. A friend said to me that I can put an EX cluster (with tachometer) and that is going to work. Is that true?
or Do I need to make other things?

I searched for it but I only found how to wire a tachometer.

yes, all clusters are plug and play. get an ex cluster and plug it in. then you have a tach.

get the jdm one, i love it, lights up amber, redlines at 8200

, only bad thing is its in km/hr...i love mine, good investment
