North east new england Honda engine performance specialists, any good ones?
aight here's the thing.
i have a b18b w/ si tranny, ctr pistons, and some bolt ons. it has 113,000 miles on it, all maintenance is up to date (i do it my self). It runs fine and i do auto-x w/ it.
I'm going to be driving the car cross country (all over the place) next summer.
I want to make sure the engine is all good, so i need some place that's really good w/ modified honda engines that can check it out and make sure every thing is fine...and a place that's not gona rip me off and tell me there's **** wrong w/ it that's really not.
I don't know about taking it to a honda/acura dealer and having them check it out cuz it modified and i don't know what they would do w/ it...
any 1 know any good places around the northeast?

BPR in Salem, Mass.
Barry does all sorts of hondas/acuras and has a dyno there now too. You can find all sorts of turboed cars and ls/vtecs and b20vtecs. You should give him a ring. Hes a great mechanic and will be realistic with you.
If not....do a compression test on your motor, check all your fluids and belts, and adjust your valves before the long ride. Good luck man
