Default differences in swaybar design?

I have a suspension techniques swaybar kit, and it mount to the rear lca int he same spot the strut connnects to it. I noticed this is different than other kits which attach in the middle of the lca in the 'swaybar mounting' hole.

Does this make any poerformance difference or is it merely another method of accomplishing the same goal? Also, do you think the beaks reinforcement kit is worth it? Is the subframe really that prone to damage?

Thanks

I don't know if there are any performance differences in the designs but I always liked the ones that connected to the LCA. Honda also designed it like that for a reason. I used to have an ITR Rear Sway Bar with Beaks Kit and now I have the Comptech Rear Sway/Tie Bar Combo, which also connects to the LCA. My friend used to have the Suspension Techniques Sway Bar but he got rid of it in favor of an ITR/Comptech setup.

As for the Beaks Kit, I'd say it's neccessary if you're running a large rear sway bar. There are threads on here where people have ripped thier subframes without any type of reinforcement.

There's also threads on here about people who have ripped their subframes with the Beaks kit installed.

The different mounting locations of the endlinks will play a part in the leverage the bar sees.
Whether Suspension Techniques has changed their geometry/shape of the bar to adjust for this, I don't know.
