DIY check engine light prob with pics....help plz

Default DIY check engine light prob with pics....help plz

alright guys well i did what u said and put speaker wire in the plug and i tried a paper clip too and the problem is wheni pu the car in the on postioin the light comes on for like a sec then turns off and never comes on again heres some pics of plug and wire
pic of plug its the one wiht 2 holes the one on the top is side ways and the one onthe bottom is up and down.

this is the set up i was doing

finally its the wires coming form the plug there two blueones sry if kinda blurry kinda in a rush..

Uhh, thats the wrong plug dude.

You need to look for a much shorter one, and its either blue or grey.

I have no clue what plug that is. Did you watch the video of how to do it?

That almost looks like a speaker plug... but how the hell it would have gotten all the way back through the molex plug and into the kick panel is beyone me.

Its really far under there. Your going to have to put your legs in the air to find it.

If your in thte drivers seat looking at the ecu, its to the ecu's left, and above it. Its almost behind the glove box
