Default Full coilover setup (D2, OMNI, or Tein)

im thinking about going to a full coilover setup. i have a sportlines and kyb shocks which really suck. i hear some crazy screech noise and i think its the spring. i was wondering which do you guys prefer. i saw the D2 but did not have any reviews. im looking for something for daily driving and do some track here and there. i have a EK by the way.

I would have to agree with that. The tein ss is a very good suspension for the money.

i would also say tein ss.. it is totally streetable, and has 16 way adjustment, so you can stiffen it up when you go to the track..

i have HA's, and love them.. totally streetable, yet handle really well on the track..

Please explain your 2 cents? And how do you keep the adjustment grooves from rusting?

and i have a extra set of fronts if your intrested and during race day i i throw my skunk2 900lbs springs on the back already attachted to a rear damper for easy swap out.

but... the teins are heaven. Just make sure you do it right and not cheap .

I bought a set tein SS for my del sol, the teins came off a integra though, and they work fine. I have the tires tucke in the fender wells, and rides way better then the GC's that are on my EF9 soon to be out, and for sure in the future the EF is going to be riding low with some teins. and there easy to adjust

i have the tein ss dampers... for the north east i think they rock. best suspension under a grand without question. BUT, i feel the spring rates are a tad on the soft side. it work for the north east as out roads are not the best year round. you can't stiffen them up. they have 16 way adjustable damping which is NOT spring rate. any serious track duty will be an issue without higher rate springs on the ss dampers, even with the damping force set to the highest level.

being from texas, i'd guess your roads are smooth as glass. that stated i'd go tein flex...

yea it really depends on what u want... just because some coilovers are more adjustable than the other... doesnt mean your going to know how to really adjust it to where it benifits you. or you might not even have time.... lol
