Default Anybody heard of ZERO FACTORY dyno tuning in TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA?

I took my car yesterday to get tuned and dynoed. My car only made 162.6 to the crank he said. He said that i wasn't even making 150 to the wheels. I have DC 4-1, camsprockets, 2.25 piping running to stock muffler from the axle back, vtec controller, ericks racing ecu, stock intake W/K&N drop in filter, fuel pressure regulator, advanced timing 17. This dyno that they use is old school looking. They put your car on like a regular dyno but the graphs are done using like a earthquake measuring thing. It's wierd. Ijust want to know if there's a trick to reading his dyno sheets. Any help would be appreciated.

if you want another reading on your motor. you could try JG or R&D, i beleive you'll get more accurate readings. Also they all have great tuners!!!

I was able to squeeze out 152hp or 132whp on my D16Y8 with the help of Oshimo on his bosh dyno... I definitly would recommend him..

been they're a few times in the past. Oshimo will be your first Japanese experience if you've never met a real Japanese person before He's way cool. He still wearing his WAKO's race suite?

I dynoed my civic there back in 09/99....
put out 174whp (B17A/CTR pistons/89 B16 head/Spoon intake cam - ITR exhaust/JDM 421 R manifold)

he uses a Bosch dyno which is a bit funkier than a dynojet. He has to calculate certain things once he's done dynoing your car.

Sounds like there might be some issues with your engine.
Stock 89-91 B16A's ususally dyno under or right at 150whp.

My fuel pressure gauge was leaking when we dynoed the car But oshimo didn't notice till the last run. I can't figure out why my fuel pressure gauge is leaking right @ the banjo bolt and the copper washer i torqued it to 18lbs. everybody says to torque it to 16lbs. but it still leaks?

do you have washers on both ends of the banjo fitting?
they're should be 2 washer on that sandwich down on either side of the banjo fitting.

The fuel is leaking out of the washer just above the fuel filter so the one between the banjo bolt and fuel filter the copper washer is what's leaking

I have DC sports 4-1 header, 5 Zigen border muffler, fuel reg, Ir plugs and head work done by http://www.alaniztechnologies.com/

My car in bone stock made 111whp on a dynojet

Plus header and muffler it made 119 on a dynojet

And finally with head work it made 132whp on a bosh dyno with tunning

I got the regular competition head work done by Alaniz... He did some minor porting and did a lot of experimenting on different valve angles that will work best for my head... Probably the only reason I went with this guy is because he has a flow bench and he back his work up with before and after flow numblers...

You can reach Joe Alaniz at http://www.alaniztechnologies.com/ he'll be more than happy to tell with what works and what dosen't...
