Do you have a picture of it (could you post it) and how do they mount...

Are they strong enough to with stand a small bump while parking?

rob... why would you want to make the thieves job easier with the visible tow hook?

and most likely if they are hit dead on with a small bump it probably will dent whatever its attached to, or just bend the tow hook

 

I never really looked at one up close SO I don't know too much about them... Do they realy bend that easy?

As for someone taking my caR without permission.... Highly unlike it.
