need help with profec b spec II
first of i new here, i know this is honda forum and i have a ford mustang, but before you tar and feather me
, im hear to learn from people that have alot more experience with turbos and things related.
lately i fabbed up a tubo kit for my own car. right now its making 342hp/369tq at 10psi but its running really rich, i have a profec b spec 2 controlling the tial 38mm wastegate.
my question is more on the boost controller, i have read posts here saying that the spec 2 sucks, and i must admit that it does, its hard to use.
in the hi setting i set the "set" to 14% which is giving me 10psi if i go 15% it will give 11 to 11.4psi (but i blow a hose every time)
i have the gain set to 14% also, i dont know why, its just there
then i have start boost at 10, again i dont know why, its just there.
i wanted to reach the 10psi no higher, i was able to do that on the dyno with the 14%/14%/10 setup but my question is, is there anything else i can do to the setup to quicken the spool?
heres am exel graph of boost vs rpm from my dyno tune

thanks alot

well i know why its running rich, it my MAF its not sending the signal properly, man most of you import owners are lucky, no MAF to worry about. i just need to get a new MAF set up, more straight pipe before and after the MAF.
check out air/fuel ratio vs rpm:

as soon as the MAF sees full boost it tells the ecu to dump alot of fuel, the good thing is its not smoking or knock it runs fine but just alittle on the rich side.
the injectors are 42lbs and i haven't had a chance to datalog the injectors, but im pretty sure the duty cycle is not the concern, looking at the graph it looks more like a MAF problem.
thanks for the concern, but can please, please tell me how to use that boost controller,
i need like a crash course in boost controller usage.
i have a dynograph too, if it helps.
thanks alot
