Default Best BLOCK GUARD out there in the market

Trying to keep the expenses low, so what kind of Block guard can I go with that is BANG FOR DA BUCK!!! Since my head is off, I'm planning on reinforcing the block as well as the head gasket.

Ya, bang for the buck....blockguards do not allow for thermal expansion.

theres a local acura mechanic here in houston that told my friend to get a blockguard and he could safely run 15psi on a b16a stock block.. isn't this somewhat optimistic?

Very much so... I don't see over 12 really being "safe" especially with a basic kit, and poor fuel management.

STR's are good, IMO.

ok basicly everyone has differnt opinions of differnt block gaurds this topic has been discused many times, i personally think nuformz is good (which is why its goin in my motor) and ive seen bad things come out of the STR one.
basicly you will basicly hear differnt things from a lot of people
