Default Budget racing.

Just a little story I want to share with you guys. I was at the street races a couple of weeks ago. Anyways, there was this turbo silver EK hatch. It sounded like crap and the guy didn't know how to drive worth a damn. I mean shifting at 3-4 grand. Regardless, he kept going back out on the line to get beat by any and everything. So he's driving back 2 get back in line and all you see is sparks. I walk over to where his car is and look in the engine bay. OMG. I point to intake manifold and see some foil-type crap popping out. I'm like, wtf is that? IT was aluminum foil!! He laughs and says, "Yeah, I don't have much money. This is a budget racer." LOL. I've never seen anything like that. He was trying to get the most out of his D series. Anyways, anyone else seen worse??

It's not thoroughly uncommon, people use the foil to use it as a heat wrap I think.
