i need help BADLY! some1 help me! its about DEL_SOL! AUTO TOO STICK
i have a rolling chassis "5-speed" delsol,nothing inside it,no interior,no wire harness,nothing,missing complete interior n harness and engine...
well heres the point
i wanan buy this crash COMPLETE "AUTOMATIC" delsol, and im wondering would all the wires be the same, since its auto n imma put it on my 5speed delsol,im going too switch everything if it works out,n for the motor, imma get a hydro 5speed tranny ,clutch n flywheel too change it into 5speed
THE MAIN POINT IS "CAN I USE ALL THE AUTOMATIC WIRE HARNESS AND MOTOR HARNES TOO PUT IT INTO MY 5 SPEED DELSOL?

Your main issue won't be auto to manual, but obd1 or obd2. Either way, you may have to modify a couple of the plugs at the most, but you should be fine.
The engine harnesses will not pose a problem. Your problem will be that the actual CHASSIS/BODY is different where the upper tranny mount bolts to them.
You will need to buy an auto-to-manual upper custom tranny mount from HASport to make it a 100% bolt-in process. Other than that treat it like a normal engine swap and simply add all of the clutch hydraulic pieces and shift linkage from the 5-speed car to the auto. The auto chassis is even already prepped for 5-speed stuff because they didn't retool machinery for each chassis.
Does that make sense?

no. just because.
Use the harness.
Change the cluster if you're going manual since the cluster you have is setup for the auto (shows what gear you're in) unless if you REALLY want to have useless stuff in the car.
Get the parts required for the auto to manual conversion if you plan on going manual, otherwise, leave as is.

yes
at the most, you might need to modify a couple of plugs on the harness, but you'll be fine.

everything will bolt up other than the top tranny mount as the automatic sits farther back to the firewall than the manual. you can convert the auto motor to manual if you have the parts. If you are staying auto all should plug rite up. Of course you will need the automatic radiator because of the oil cooler on the bottom
