Default is this ground legit.

b18c1 in 91 crx hf. Tryin' to get it started. I'm troubble shooting a whole bunch of things and I was wondering if it's alright to ground the neg battery cable like this.

I wouldnt use a rusted wire for a ground.. Get a 4 gauge wire with a ring terminal on the end for your ground..

right on, but is it ok to have it ontop of the tranny mount, I couldn't find a really good place to relocate it?

Ohh.. I would try to find a better one than that.. Dirt in the bolt holes for the tranny will cut down on the ground quality..

That seems to be acceptable.. Just make sure your bolts are clean and you should be good..

Get a multimeter. Put the one probe on the top of the wire. Then touch the other probe on any part of the engine block.

Your resistance should show near 0. That will tell if you have a good ground.
