I have a problem with my 90 si with a b16 a ls tranny swap. The problem started when i replaced the driver side axle when i put in the new transmission. I had a s1 with lsd and the pin came out of the diff. and came through the case, awesome looking but crappy at the same time. Well after i replaced the axle i noticed that when i went through a short dip in the road or hit a bump a rubbing sound came from the driver side. It also made the noise when i went around a right hand curve with any speed. I though it was the axle and replaced it, twice, and it still hasn't fixed the problem. I have no clue what it could be. I took it to the local import shop and they said i need a new steering rack, that could be it i guess, but i don't see how it could be that when it started making the noise and vibrations after i put in the new axle. any help with this would be awesome because it is driving me insane. thanks

it might be the wheel bearing

 

when i replaced my 90crx b16a y1 axles my driver side had a nasty vibration, and only when turned one direction(forgot which one) when i turned it the other way it felt fine... and wit hthe wheel straight it felt decent... i was told that the axle was slightly to short and that on some turns it would bind and on other turns it would free up.. this MIGHT be ur issue???.. anyway i wound up just rebuilding the axles that came with my swap because 3 sets of 90 integra axles kept doin the same thing...

 

I think it's the axle also, that's why i replaced it. i don't have one to rebuild so i guess i'm up a creek. that's probably the problem, but does anyone else have any suggestions?
