mine too. My 2006 was wrecked prior to my ownership. I got my oil changed and my mechanic told me my transmission case was broken and needed a new transmission. Talked to Honda America and they said because the car was wrecked all warranties all canceled. However my mechanic says he has never ever seen this happen to a transmission. He searched a few junkyards and could not find any transmissions. He said that was odd for a 2006 model. There should be transmissions available, Why not? Too many other Honda cracked transmission problems????
The GSR transmission in my 94 LS was from a wrecked GSR, cracked at motor mount, [7" long.
I pulled the transmission apart, did a little hammering to close up the crack and had it welded on the inside and out, used a grinder to smooth out the bead on the inside, [where it was in the way] and the same on the out side.
No problems with it for the last 7 years, been auto-crossed for 5 of those and the tranny has been pulled 5-6 times to replace springs on the Phantom Grip LSD, but tranny has been good. 94
