definitely dont cap off the 2 lines on the firewall thats what circulates coolant to your heater core box so that it can blow hot air, check your coolant level and top it off and bleed it off. sometimes when you swap a motor in you have to wait until the fans turn on which is the best point to top off your coolant but also when the fans kick on you have to turn your interior fan all the way on and put it to all the way hot this way everything that is circulating when the thermostat opens also fills up your heater core with a less chance that you get air bubbles in the system.

ok i topped off my coolant.. bleed the system and it still blows cold air..the only i questions are those 2 holes that are open under the battery box ? if i cover them.. i feel air being sucked into the car...is that a reason for the cold air while im sitting still..
