Default Anyone using SPARK RACING's Ultralite I-Beam All Motor rods?

Sup H-T
I'm just checking to see if anyone is using SPARK RACING's new ultralite I-beam forged rods for N/A app.?
They have them for sale in the performance section for $225-shipped.

That's real good pricing if ya ask me but I just don't want to get caught up in the "U GET WHAT U PAY FOR" deal.
No disrespect to SPARK RACING but I'm just looking for some hands on with these rods cause
I'm thinking about getting me a set but I would actually like to know who is using them and if there are any issues anyone has ran into with them?
Any input would be great
Thanx

So do u have the rods already or did you just order them?
Did u get the ultralite I-beams?
I'm wondering how they actually are in person as far as how the craftsmanship looks in person?
Any flaws u noticed?
Spark actually said they come with arp's 2nd the the top of the line hardware wich should be good **** then.
Also another thing Spark mentioned was that they are lighter than Eagle rods.

I would post the link for ya bro but I'm on my sidekick and can only browse on it.
But if you go to the performance section under sponsors market and browse there and look for a topic under "SPARK RACING ULTRALITE I-BEAM RODS.....$225-shipped"
There are full specs and pix for the H-beam turbo rods and I-beam all motor rods.

The number stamped on those rods is not 4340 is it?

If so that is just the type of steel used in the forging process. I know the rods Anthony is selling are 4340.

Just from pure visual the H-beam rods have a lot more material around small end of the rod. If you look at the picture of the I beam rod the material around the small end of the rod is paper thin. I am sure it is fine though.

For $225 shipped it would seem to good to be true. But in this case I think it is just too good. If they are 4340 forged steel they are very very sturdy. That is dense metal.

The numbers stamped on the rods are the rod lenght's.

5290 is a b16 length
5394 is an ls
5433 is gsr

the numbers are not the material being used

Good input on the rod length.
I know it's probably too early to tell with these rods since they were just released recently but man that price is kinda tooo good to pass up.
I wonder how many other people purchased a set.
I am seriously thinking about ordering a set this week.
I mean if u add the price for beefing up the stock LS rods with arp rod bolts and add the price for shot peening the spark rods are a real bang for the buck.
Well let's see if anymore people have things too say.

I would try to get my money back on that deal if possible: spark racing is the worst place to do busness. see https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1002831 and https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=991298

Holy ****...........that sounds like some serious drama on those links.
Well atleast the motor build up part.
Damn.....well has anyone else had this problem recently?
I mean he is in the sponsors forum and seems to be selling a lot of **** there and have not seen any complaints?
**** this don't sound good.
Better double check on your order Jspin and see how's it lookin!
Let us know since u are a recent customer for those rods.

yea i have to say i was screwed over by spark racing too when i got my pro fab header.
took over 3 weeks to get it. i really needed it too i was driving around to work and **** for 2 weeks on a stock b16 header from my friend driving to work open header!!!!
******* ***** loud
i also told him i needed it because i had to get the car done before i went away on vacation. i cant keep driving around open header this my only car. and im not going to pay money to have my exhaust hooked up twice thats double the labor.

kept giving me the run around, they had racing scedule held back, next week it was they shiped to wrong place etc. then they were waiting on the next batch but he told me the header he snaped pics of was mines....
but i got it for 420 shiped so i cant complain at least i got it

Sux to hear this **** fella's
I just made up my mind and decided NOT to go with these rods as to there could be chances of having some major issues.
I just went ahead today and ordered myself some ARP rod bolts and P30 .25 oversized pistons for my project.
Thanx for everyone's input and sorry to hear about your bad experiences.
