Default 99-00 si rear brakes on a 97 civic

I know that u gotta swap the spindle, e-brake lines and control arm assembly plus some other stuff but what i want to know is, do i need to change the proportion valve or can i just leave the on that came with the car. I won't be doing any autocrossing or anything like that. I just want some better braking power and drums behind nice looking wheels look shitty.

When I did mine, I didnt change the proportion valve. But it seems to work just fine.

Everything is pretty simple and everything bolts on. You'll need brake lines for the rear.

Just get some SS lines for a 99-00 si....I swapped prop valve when I swapped to Si rear brakes, haven't had a problem. I also went with an Si master cylinder, it is just a little bigger.

hmm...if you really want better braking power, you should upgrade the master cylinder and booster to that of an Si Coupes or 94+ Integra, 1" size. It will increase the sensitivity of your braking by a lot, even with rear drum brakes!

The proportioning valve isn't super important -- you can keep your existing one on there.

you probably have to modify the hardlines...
