I called Turbonetics a couple days ago.After waiting 30min on the phone I told them of my situation.I bought another turbo for my crx in parts off of ebay.I bought a T04B compressor with an A/R 50 with a 57 trim compressor wheel dynamic backplate anodized and a t3 center housing.I also picked up a T3 stage 3 turbine shaft.I got all these parts brand new and far less than the cost of a complete turbo.All the parts are turbonetics parts.I told them that I need a rebuild kit and other parts not included in the kit like the compressor clamps and the compressor gaskets and misc parts.They told me I could not rebuild my turbo.I asked then why not and they said because it will need to be balanced after assembly.I told them I know.They said we can balance it for you for $130 and that you will need to ship it to us.I told them that Car craft is going to balance it for me for $35.After I said that they wanted nothing to do with me.I told them what parts I needed for the rebuild and asked them for the part numbers.They told me they dont sell parts Id have to go through the a dealer.I told them I know that.Then the guy said I aint gonna sit here and go through all the part numbers that you need.I said why not and he said because I dont know what Turbo you have.I gave the guy the specs on my turbo and the part numbers.I love turbonetics products because they are high quality.The customer service sucks *****.The guy didnt want to deal with me at all because I believe they werent gonna make any money off me.Makes me not want to buy any turbonetics products at all.I might just stick with Garrett equvelant parts.They just pissed me the hell off!

 

welcome to the club. i wont go back to turbonetics ever again.

 

they stright up suck now. turbo rebuild twice and ftill messed up. took it out and beat it to death.

 

What happened to them? I bought a Turbo off of them about 4 years ago.Never had any problems.Customer service was great.Now four years later they are just horrible.Maybe they are just making alot of money and dont care about customers.The guy on the phone sounded like a complete pot head.Im serious he sounded like he smoked himself stupid.Took him forever to repsond to a question.Turbonetics needs to stop smoking the cheap ****.

 

Didn't a lot of the guys from the turbonetics of past move to start up ITS? I currently have a turbonetics but once upgrade time comes around, its good bye.
