Default T3 to t4 compressor upgrade

If I have a geneic t3 turbo and want to change the compressor to a t04b or to4e, what will I need to get besides the t4 wheel and compwheel?

I believe all you'd "need" is the compressor wheel, the backing plate, and the compressor housing. Of course the whole turbo needs to be taken apart to accomplish this.
So you'd need to buy the hard parts, and pay for the rebuild/balancing...

That being said, with the price of a new T3/T4, I'd just go that route...

Your turbo will need to be balanced after you change it over to a t3/t4... otherwise the bearings will eat itself up.

if I bought a t4 and t3 turbo I should have all the parts I need to put them "together" right?

yep then just pay for a rebuild but they won't charge you as much since you have all the parts. Call around and find some prices and explain your situation. Give Phoenixturbo.com a call they do a lot of rebuilds
