Default changing odometer

I recently bought a new cluster from a 97 civic in a scrap yard and I would like the mileage to match the one that I had. I'm at 75000 and the other is double that. It's not a digital cluster so I assume it's pretty easy.

you mean that the mileage will automatically change on itself no need to mess with it.

No it wont change itself, just unscrew the speedo from your old cluster and put it in the new one.

Take the WHOLE speedometer assembly out of your old cluster, then take out the WHOLE speedometer assembly in your new cluster, put the speedo form your OLD cluster in your new cluster and you are done.

The reason people don't like taking about how to roll the odometer is because it can be used to scam people when selling a used car. (low the milage, more expensive the car)
