boost tuning
insted of getting into the ecu for a/f ratio tuning, would a boost dependent fuel pressure regulator and dsm 340's be suffecient for no more then 10si. sending out ecus is gettin pricey and it will run full rich at all times. thanks
well even with 340ccs with nothing to trim them down, at idle and cruise you might run into drivability issues. Invest a lot of time into reading up on rom editors and a little money for hardware, you won't regret it.
i've HEARD that a boost dependent fuel regulator will be fine when running low boost, but it's an archiac method and not ideal. you could run that for now and then get something better later if you wanted to up the boost. that's just my .02
Do not cheap out on tuning. Tuning is what determines your engine's fate. Shall it run for a day, or shall it run for years? It's up to you.. spend the few hundred dollars and get it done RIGHT.
im trying to get it done right while on a budget is what im saying, of course i want stand alone but i also have other obligations to pay for, on my last turbo motor i had the ecu chipped and fuel curved to match 8psi, FPR at 55 and stock injectors, it never even came close to running lean and never detonated, its just that 24/7 rich afr was gettin pricey with these gas prices now and my drive-relyability was still fine, i was still able to drive to the beach, 2hrs worth highway for 10 bucks on 93oct. gotta love honda milage

I would definitley go with uberdata if you do not planning going any higher than 10psi also those injectors will be maxxed out way before 10psi you will need at least 450cc injectors and a good tune to keep a good idle and i descent a/f ratio at full boost
