Default Do you think this intercooler will work good on my 500HP motor???

My engine is roughly going to be producing 425hp on pumpgas and 500hp on racefuel (#'s at the crank).
I found this one particular intercooler for my car. Due to the design and size, it will fit perfect. The core is 20x6x3, but it has the endtanks on the top and bottom, and flows up/down. From what i know it is better to have more core rows, then to have less rows that are longer... If you are an experienced person, please click on the link and tell me if you think this intercooler will do the job well for the HP i'm going to be making. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33742

Thanks,
Adam

1245 cfm will do it. my only complaint is that the tanks dont taper till the very end. the majority of airflow through that intercooler will choose the far end, as i see no baffling inside.

this is a little better. the taper will force more air through rows closer to the entrance, spreading the heatload.

internal baffles would be the best case though.

Thanks for the replies. I was really not liking the endtank design of the intercooler i was looking at either...

The Treadstone intercooler you just showed me looks awesome. But the specs i want on the core size are..............22"long, by 6" tall, by 3" thick.

Theres so many 4 door 93 honda accords around, my car just blends in like all the rest. My car is a total sleeper. Looks like a stock 17second car. Hahahaha

I looked around some, and realized that intercooler you showed me is a pretty good deal, so i bid on it. I wanted a 3" core, but that 3.5" tapers nicely and should fit fine. Thank you very much for showing me that intercooler. I've been looking for one like that for a while now....

i paid 340$ just for my core, still hafta fab and weld tanks on, so those are a killer deal. altho my core is 27x6x3 so.. little bigger. 100 plus rows i believe.
