I believe its 16" in length, I may be wrong though. The easiest solution would be to replace the cat with a straight pipe.
And doesnt a straight pipe reduce backpressure in the car and make it a lot louder? Because if that would be the case Id rather stick with stock which is why im looking for aftermarket other than the straight pipe solution....
As long as you are running an exhaust that isn't bigger than 2.25" there should be no worries with backpressure, you have plenty. IMO aftermarket cat's = waste of money. Just get a "high-flow cat" from ebay or something, they are actually resinators (which wont make it as loud as a straight pipe). If you are worried about passing emissions inspections, ignore everything I've said.
If you get the magnaflow, let us know the results.

I wanted to get a high flow cat from ebay but I heard that they work for about a couple of months and then afterwards they fall apart on you. Part of the reason I wanted a new converter is because the stock one is getting old and I figured instead of replacing it with another stock one why not upgrade and get one thats les restrictive but wont fall apart on you in a couple of months if you know what I mean....

Thats true in some cases about the ebay cat. I had mine on my last accord for almost a year with no problems... but I've heard of them breaking at the welds etc. I've never heard anything bad about the magnaflow's, so I'd say go for it. btw, have you figured out which one fits yet?
