Default is every single d series tranny interchangeable?

I am looking for a tranny for my d16z6 setup, and have stumbled across one from a 2001 ex and i am wondering if it will fit. I know that the 92-00 ex tranny will fit but i am not entirely sure if this one will, if someone could just clarify quick that would be greatly appreciated. thanks
