D-16 tranny casing problem.
Can any D-serious tranny casing fit the 92-95 si tranny. My casing on the top mount of the tranny is cacked and i really don't wont to buy a new or used tranny. I was wondering if buying any d-16 tranny form any year will fit my 92 si tranny casing?or do i have to buy the same one in order for it to work? please need help....

yes all the d series tranny are interchangable and i believe casing are the same too .i used to run a d16z6 engine with 2000 civic ex tranny

I'm almost positive that they wont, as there is a a000 case and a b000 case, the difference between the Ex/Si vs the Dx/Lx/Cx/Vx is the gear ratio and bigger case bearings. So I doubt its gonna work wait for Bense to drop in he knows his trannys.
