Default What OEM piston in gsr block

What oem piston should I use in my gsr block with pr3 head...I'll be running s2s2 vavletrain. I'll be running 93 octane and be tuning with crome. Should I use CTR/JDM ITRwith 2 layer gasket/ JDM b16. I want to hit 200 whp or more with tuning

jdm b16 p30's would work well and yield a nice compression

the flat quench pads of the gsr head and matching piston offered a lot more detonation resistance than the b16 recessed pads.

whats this guy said.
if you're using a b18c1 head, figure out what compression ratio you want, and go from there. if that means a thin headgasket and b18c5 pistons, or whatever...

also realize that the flat top pistons w/ small chamber make for a better flame front, and more complete burn. b18c1 head rocks. look up my old post of my b20z destroker. it was running a b18c1 head and was the same size as an LS motor. 212.8hp and 143.8tq @ the wheels.

bottom line is.. figure out your gal.. and go from there.

CTRs if you enjoy c12, or pulling 6 degrees of timing out so it wont detonate on 93

P30s if your smart
