For a while when I make hard lefts I notice a clunking noise which i suspect is the inner CV joint on the drivers side axle. Upon inspection I noticed the inner boot is shot and the axle has some front/back play in it.

Should I replace the inner CV joint and boot or just get a new axle altogether? On Honda's is it okay to replace just one axle? Passenger axle seems to be fine. BTW, I have a Integra JDM B16A with J1 tranny so I assume I have the integra intermediate shaft which means I need 90-93 integra axles correct? Any recommendations on where to get a single axle? (Autozone/Kragen) Thanks guys.

 

just replace both axles (recommended if you got the doh) check autozone or pepboys...
i got mine from the j-yard... so you might as well want to check over there too

 

Just checked 3 places and Autozone had it for the cheapest at $69.99 + refundable core w/lifetime warranty. At that price I'm just going to replace the entire axle.

 

wow yours are expensive there, around here it's only 59.99 + 59.99 core

Yep and ask for non abs axles.
