ARG!

I just got pulled over for having to loud of a exhaust system. As the officer said, "it's your can for a muffler thats the problem".

Well anyways, I have a Ractive 4-2-1 header going to a high-flow cat converter to a Bomz 2.5 cat back..

Any respectable, nice sounding exhaust setups that anyone can recomend for a 99 DX Hatch? I'm looking for the cheap'zor that is still ok. Or should I just get a new muffer?

Some cops are just dicks.

in chicago:
1) the sound pressure level on the public way measured at a distance of ten feet or further from the source exceeds 80 dB(A)

so if ten feet from your car, your exhaust is less than 80decibels, your completely legal.

Just add a glass pack muffler to the pipe under the car. You don't need to buy a completely new exhaust system. Get one that matches your pipe diameter, and you'll be good. Any exhaust shop should have/get these no prob...
