Which H/G for over 1.5 CR drop ?
Who's making a reliable headgasket that can drop compression as much as 1.5 points OR more ? If anyone makes it...
I am running high CR and contemplating boost, but I'd like to get down closer to 10:1. If no one makes a gasket that can drop that much... is it safe/possible to stack the gaskets for a bigger drop ?

I wouldn't go more than 1 full pt. You are going to ruin your quench area and possibly have sealing problesm.

I'd be more worried about the lack of a decent quench area, coupled with the relative high CR and you've got a nice recepie for bad things.

You now YOU are against it ? The last of the little turbo devils on my shoulder ? I don't know you anymore man....
Well I was considering this, my compression is 11.6:1 (there I said it in public)... I was considering a B16 head instead of the GSR so I'd lose close to 0.2 ? Ok, now it's down to 11.4:1... so is there a decent HG to drop that # to something that I can consider boosting ?
VTC, we talked about this... I only want about 6psi or so.

I already told you man, a conservative tune with a simple turbo setup = 300whp easily. Go look at what those B18C5's put down with like 7-9psi, it's ridiculous!

^^ Yeah, but are you talking about my setup with a thick H/G ? I really don't want to even dream about it on my current CR. If so... what should I try to get it down to ? Right below 11:1, like the c5's ? (10.8, right ?)

Yeah, but too low and any decently sized turbo will be struggling to flow.... I don't want to have to spool all they way up top and I don't want to run a 14b.... lol.
