Are you sure that it is leaking from the head gasket? It may be leaking from the black rubber cam seal next to the distributor. This is fairly common and it will give the appearance that it is leaking from the head gasket area. The rubber cam seal gets hard over time and it begins to leak. I actually have to replace my cam seal, but I will probably wait until spring time when it warms up.

What he said. If thats the problem, simply pull the cam seal, and Hondabond it liberally - thats what they do at the dealer. Also, if that's not it, check the torque specs on your head bolts. If they aren't torqued right, that could cause it.

unfortunately its leaking mainly on the side opposite from the tranny (the right side if your looking at it from the front of the car).....so its not near the distributer or vtec sol.

can you actually see if the leak is coming from the head gasket or does it appear to be running from somewhere else to the gasket.

its def. coming from the head gasket.... the motor is pretty clean, so you can see where the oil is leaking out of.....I'll see if i can get a picture sometime...
