Expert body shop in Bay Area...
I'm looking for a top notch body shop in the bay area. I know body work is rather expensive because its worth it if the job gets done right the first time and I don't get my R back with an additional 30,000 mi on the clock. I had a little skirmish with bad luck this morning driving home on the freeway. I seems that someone threw and bunch of wood on the highyway, and I, trying to avoid one piece only managed to hit another. The piece shot upward and into the driver side door (please don't ask how, I'm still in shock, I'll probably be really mad later this after noon when this bullshit sinks in). Right now, my goal is to find an honest, high quality body/paint shop to get this repaired. There is severe paint damage so repainting looks inevitable. So...if you know of any exceptional body shop in the CA Bay Area, PM me or post a local. Thanks for your help guys. I'm gonna go lock myself in the closet and cry for a little while.
not to start a :FIRE: but did you try the search?

Take a pic, post it up.
Are you sure you can't get it out with rubbing compound? If it didn't make it down to the primer, wet sand and rubbing compound might do the trick.
p.s. I'm going to SF for New Years, I'll bring my plunger, hammer and baseball bat! Bodywork tools of champions!

I got my Type R fixed at EMC body shop in Fremont. Had to customize my front and back bumpers to fill up the holes. (Emblems stolen 3 times and decide just to forget about it) They did a very clean job and also a certified shop from AAA.
