Default Thermal exhaust without a Cat, question

I plan on running a 3" Thermal without a cat and would like to know just how much louder it is without one. I COULD run a Catco but its a pain wtih all the flanges. What do you think i should do?

its not bad at all...i used to run a 2.5" custom setup (no cat or resonator) frm turbo back with a thermal 2.5 muffler, i dont think a 3" would be much different. its pretty quiet IMO.

I have a similar setup to thermal.

2.5" (1 foot?) flare to 3" exhaust... with one 18" resonator and a StainlessS. Magnaflow 3inch muffler.

And its VERY QUIET! >_< Love it.

WOrse to worse, add in another resonator!

Default Kteller

I can get the Thermal exhaust for around $550 but WHAT IF i just went with the KTELLER 3" cat back exhaust that used the Magnaflow Muffler? Dont ya think that this would be a better router for $375?? Tell me what you guys think.

What length test pipe would i need to fill in for a cat?

i dont think a thermal system would use a magnaflow muffler. anyway, i got my piping from http://www.speedpartsrus.com. was about 100 bux. and bought a thermal r&d universal oval muffler for 100, took em to a local shop, and had it all welded up for about 70-80. this is including the downpipe. since i did the whole system, i just ran a straight pipe from the dp to the back, deleting the cat in the process. im guessing it would be around 12". cuz thts where i have my flex section.
