Default HID problems

I installed HIDs on my lude.. but whenever I turn them on they start with a nice blue/purplish color for about 20-30 seconds and then they totally change colors to whitish/yellow.. Is this normal? If not, would it be a problem with my ballasts losing power or just my bulbs(used) are messed up?

if you got the 4100k then your bulbs are probably still new and need time to color change and that is about 120 hours.

Yes, that's normal. It's the chemicals mixing. What the temp on the bulbs? It's probably cheap bulbs.

he said they are used. so i doubt they need to be broked in.

might be too old of bulbs, or a power issue.

Maybe the first owner never mixed in the chemicals correctly. You're supposed to hang them upside down for period of time.

It's too late now!
