Mugen ecu install help
Is there a trick to installing the Mugen ecu? Is there some special procedure or trick? I installed the Mugen 9000rev limit ecu into a Type S and we weren't able to get the car running.. Well.. it would only start up if your foot was pegged on the gas... it would stall as soon as you try to idle the car.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
From King Motorsports:
"Installation on the US Market RSX-S (2002-2004) requires the following modification. Behind the glove box there is a fuel pump relay. The Green/White wire used by the relay needs to be spliced and a wire run to ground. "

You will have to ground out the fuel pump relay wire, as Kingmotorsports stated.
We have to do it everytime we send out a customer's ECU out to hondata for reflash, when we give them our loaner DC5-R ecu.
