replacing water pump
quality and lowest price...pick one or the other, can't get both
water pumps are cheap anyways, most aftermarket w/lifetime warrantee are around $40

go with a honda water pump and belts, better quality and the right part. if you are going to do this replace the timing and balance belt. you have to take off the belts to replace the water pump.then if its done right you dont have to do it for another 100,000 miles. it takes about four to five hours to do this.

it sure won't if this is your first time!!! Try 10-12, other than that he's absolutely right. You're gonna be in there anyways, no reason to not change the belts. Make sure you got the balance shaft seal retainer as well, there was a recall on some makes/models (do a search on it).

Run a search on "timing belt" in the Accord forum archives and recent threads. Basically everything that needs to be done to replace a timing belt is the same for the water pump. So read through the threads on that and that should give you and idea of what needs to be replaced as well as some tips on how to do it. Also, it's good to have a manual present. Preferably a Helms but most manual give instructions on how to do a timing belt job, I just prefer to use the Helms manual. I feel they have better descriptions and much more helpful pictures than others.
