I think it's called a "nut buster" you could get it at a auto part store or else try sears.

Yea the make special sockets and wrenches for stripped nuts. Depending on how bad you destroyed it.

Which did you strip exactly?

I thought you got one of those at the strip club, who knew?

This is what you need:

You can get them at any hardware store.

Let's say your trying to replace an axel. You know after you take out the big nut from the middle of the rotor. Well next is the nut just underneath and behind the rotor, directly below the ball joint. That is a B*cth to take out. Any ideas. Oh yea. Reminds me, could I get that nut about anywhere or would I hafta special order it.

I dont know if it would work on your nut, but sometimes you can used a dermel and make a slot for a screwdriver. Or your could grind the nut off and flat and then drill out the bolt. alot of work that way

Try hosing it with PB Blaster for a little while, and maybe pick yourself up a set of those stripped nut/bolt removers from Sears. Havent seen them in action, but seem like they would work well. Or just get a nut cracker and break the nut off. Just walk into Sears and tell them you are "Trying to bust a nut!", and hopefully they know what you mean. Good luck sir.

for the nut that's stripped inside then only thing you can do is try to grind it off without messing up the stud. Outside try hammering on a impact socket of a smaller size. If it's a stripped lug nut (from the outside) they sell lug nut removers, just hammer it on and use a regular wrench (they say you go to use an impact) and loosen it.

he's tried..
everything; WD-40, blow torch, breaker bar

seriously doubt one of those stripped nut removers from sears will get it off if a torch was involved.

If you don't want to cut or grind it off, hammering a 12point impact socket with torch heat and a breaker bar will get it off

i would use a dremel if i had too... just cut two spots on the sides of the nut (if you can) you should be able to get it that way.. but maybe im just stoned

vice grips and a hammer?

you would be surprised how well those craftsman things work, really, they do a tremendous job half the time. The other half, porta-band or sawsall
