Default What type of sealant for VTEC plug/fittings?

Ive asked a few people what they use and have gotten a veriaty of answers.
This is for the 1/8" NPT oil hole plug on the head and for the rest of the fittings for the VTEC oil lines.

One oerson said they use Loctite, another uses just Teflon tape, and another said they uses Hondatbond.

I bought a tube of Permatex High Temp Thread Sealant, says it prevents leaks from vibration, heat cycling, etc.

Should that be fine? What have some of you guys used and what types of experiances have you had?

I prefer teflon paste, but the tape works. The tape can sometimes bind up, and get torn off, putting it into the oil - not good. Hondabond has also worked.

I just used the tape when I installed my oil cooler. I think that you Permatex sealant will work better...."High temp". Just be clean with it.....(Spade just got the feeling that he didn't need to mention that)

I've always used honda bond. If honda uses it to seal the oil pump from the factory then why can't we use it for just a fitting. Anyway I've always use hondabond and never had a problem and I've done quite a few LS/VTEC's.

Just use Teflon tape. Trust me. I used that stuff all the time. It works great. I've use it on fuel line fitting, engine oil lines and such.
