I think they had one in The Fast and The Furious.

But yah, a friend had a set. I think they look like crap. Try a new cluster and post pictures of yours.

why don't you guys just turn your cluster lights off (at night. or dim them to the dullest setting possible)??

It doesn't do anything but cause eye fatigue at night.

A gauge cluster happens to be the item that contributes the most to eye fatigue at night for driving, since the lights are so bright.
Usually, clusters are brighter than the headlights' light (the light you see in front of you when inside the car).
The cluster lights also reflect off your windows.

Believe it or not, it helps you see better at night. Bright lights in your car do nothing but distract your eyes (even if you don't notice it).

Take a drive in your car with the cluster lights on, and then turn them off (including your radio deck, which has lights too)...
You should immediately feel a difference.... you can see things on the road easier.

So, there's no reason to get a gauge cluster.
