Quick Electrical! Red Black Wire
Its solid red with a thin black stripe... i need to know what it does... i dont have any orange wires comming from the leads, i need to know if its the Illumination/dimmer wire. THANKS!

this would be concerning the radio correct?? the red with black stripe wire does nothing for the radio. just basically dead but still tape the end. someone cut the harness off??

that wire shows (+) when your parking lights and headlights are on. it is the right wire for the illumination. some aftermarket decks don't have an illumination lead so it's not always used.
